Een nadeel was de drukte bij het zwembad, waar mensen al vroeg ligbedden reserveerden met handdoeken. Maar al met al was het een geweldige reis en een prachtige omgeving.

The owner even took us to town to introduce us to the incredible flavors of Southern African cuisine. The staff, especially manageress Hannah, are exceptional and make you feel like family. The dinner is delicious, the atmosphere is inviting, and the other guests are entertaining. The chalet is quirky, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. The river walk is breathtaking, with an array of stunning birdlife.

We had a fantastic time at Eselbe Camp Backpackers! The owner, Rupert, was incredibly welcoming and even gave us a lift to the supermarket and bus stop. The campfire evenings and delicious steaks cooked by Rupert were a highlight of our stay. The location, although a bit far from the center, offered a peaceful morning walk along the river. The camp had a natural, rustic charm that we thoroughly enjoyed. We also appreciated the option to choose between a dorm bed or a private tent. Despite a few minor electricity issues, the overall experience was delightful. We would definitely recommend this place for a unique and relaxing stay. highly recommended!
